Meet OpenRoad's Head Brewer, Aaron

Aaron, who has been with the brewery since 2022, is a Sustainable Brewing Instructor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College with 10+ years of experience in brewing sciences, quality operations management, and innovative brewing technology and is a Board member of the Michigan Brewer's Guild. During his time at KVCC, the program, faculty, and students have been the recipients of World Beer Cup & Great American Beer Fest medals, as well as a two-time Grand National Champion award at the U.S. Open College Beer Championship. He is committed to quality, sustainability, and making excellent beer! He's also a really nice guy!
